Executive Summary

Final Project Report In the last few weeks, numerous changes have made to the project Trillo Apparel Company District 4 Production Warehouse. The entire project was set to complete in four months in line with the existing budget parameters. Over the past few weeks, however, we have been forced to adjust certain factors relating to the project, the construction team had to extend the set deadline because they were unable to beat deadlines for other projects. We had to adjust the schedule alongside coming up with executive decisions budget and deadline for this particular undertaking.

Project Performance and Status Report

From the start, the project was on course for completion on or before the end of the four months’ timeframe. The budget parameters set by the organization were also on course. Our first assumption was that the permits for this undertaking would take a fortnight only to learn later that each permit would require an extra week translating to 21 days for each permit. In other words, this turn of events added three more weeks to the venture. Unfortunately, this was not the only hiccup. The construction unit only managed to give us 50 percent of their crew which translated to 24 extra days in the drywall, framing and completion of the task. Our choices we limited to either extend the project deadline by 2 months or incur $200,000 extra to complete it by the end of the fourth month.

Organizational Structure

In order to meet the set deadline and operate within the budget granted to us by the top management, the project required an efficient team. Some of the key stakeholders that ought to be incorporated include vendors, manual laborers, project manager, and the top leadership. The role of the project manager is to ensure that work is done in the correct manner as well as give regular updates to the senior managers on the progress of the project (Binder, 2016).

Project and Administrative Teams

The two teams that play a significant role in this undertaking include project crew and the administrative teams. The project crew encompass the contractors and vendors that are to assist get the project done by completing the manual activities associated with seeing the task done such as framing, drywall, plumbing, electrical work among other activities (Lester, 2013). On the other hand, the administrative team involve the senior management, project manager, architect, and other professionals who are expected to ensure that all the required paperwork is addressed and that contractors are reporting to work in order to complete the assignment within the set deadline (Kerzner & John Wiley & Sons, 2015).

Project Risk and Change Management

A number of risks are linked to any project. The best way to address this challenge is by coming up with appropriate projections to best address the problems that arise so that the budget and the deadline remains unaffected (Snyder, 2018). It ought to have been for………
